DRV8825가 전압, 전류 더 높고 1/16, 1/32까지 지원

1/32 스탭에서 소음이 더 적은 것 같다.

Yes, 8825's are quieter than 4988's. But the 8825's lack the dynamic range that the 4988's have. That means they don't work well with low inductance motors - especially at higher power supply voltages. Both of those are highly desirable if you are looking for faster speeds and higher accelerations. Quite frankly, I will no longer use either one of them.

I tried to put 8825 on my extrude motor with 16 step mode, but I found the material extruded is very bad, not smooth at all. Then I took the motor out from extrude head then found that the motor is shacking when running with low speed(around 25mm/min). but for a4988 the situation is better than 8825. Who can tell me how to solve this problem if I insist to use 8825.

The mute board will resolve the noise for $0.47 each board. Also makes it more like an external driver smoothing operation providing more professional results.
